Oscars Oscars Oscars.... hmmm... wow, i've been so out of the loop the past several months that i haven't made it to the smaller films that i usual do... here are my choices, as well as predictions... Best Picture: Here i'm going to have to go with my favorite of the year The Departed, i completely loved this movie, it's an amazing story played by amazing actors with an amazing director... Babel and The Queen are very much on my list to see, i'll have to get back to you on those... (btw, The Departed, is NOT for anyone under 18, its a film that has a ton of language and some sex in it) Best Director: by far The Departed's director Martin Scorsese, this is his EIGHTH nomination for directing and or directing, now lets give him one. Actor: Leonardo DiCaprio, i loved Black Diamond, he is really able to carry this film... Actress: Here i'm just going to have to go with the only film that i've seen nominated for this catagory, Meryl Streep in Devil Wears Prada... Cinematography: Definently needs to go to Children of Men, its a beautifully shot film... Ellen Degeneres?????? Hosting???? arrgh, i dunno about the rest of you, but she's really really boring! |
